Process
Next Level Therapy’s process is simple, but more importantly, it’s how we get to know your child, you, your family and discover how we can help.
Our process is only three easy steps:
Step 1
You complete the Intake Form
Step 2
Experts perform an Evaluation and Analysis
Step 3
You schedule Therapy Sessions that work best for you and your child
1. Intake Form
The more information you can provide about your child’s background history, developmental milestones and other general information, the better treatment plan we can formulate for him or her. You can also find the Child Intake form on our Forms Page to complete prior to your child’s evaluation.
2. Evaluation and Analysis
Parent Interview
We start with you, the parent, because you know your child best. Both parent interviews and your child’s evaluation are conducted in the comfort of your own home. During your Interview, we’ll discuss the information you completed on the Child Intake Form about developmental milestones, language background, history of disorders and any other relevant information.
Your Child’s Assessment
We also assess your child’s abilities and gather recorded data to help us discover a clinical diagnosis of your child’s impairment. It’s best if we work with your child in a quiet environment where distractions are minimal.
Analysis of Results
Based on our gathered data during the parent interview and your child’s assessment process, we analyze the results and generate a Speech and Language evaluation report that is the formulation of your child’s customized Treatment Plan.
3. Therapy Sessions
One-to-one sessions
Once your child’s treatment plan is finalized, you can schedule sessions at your convenience. Expect each session to last 30 to 45 minutes, and depending on your child’s specific needs, he or she may need therapy 1 to 3 times per week.
Carryover: Your involvement for continued success
As a parent, you play a part in your child’s treatment success. When you commit to carrying over our family-oriented therapy strategies and techniques outside of session hours, you’ll maximize the effects of your child’s treatment plan.
If you are ready to begin the process, please fill out the Child Intake Form located on our Forms page or contact us directly for more information. We would be happy to assist.
