Next Level Therapy provide the highest quality, clinically driven, yet practical approach to speech therapy patients in the New York Metro Area.

Next Level Therapy New York was founded in 2018 by its Director, Dulce Arevalo, with the intent to provide the highest quality, clinically driven, yet practical approach to speech therapy patients in the New York Metro Area.

Next Level Therapy’s goal is to treat every patient as a unique individual, while excelling in clinically based evaluation, analysis, diagnosis and therapy implementation.

Our mission statement comes down to one sentence: We strive to improve the quality of life for our patients by helping them to improve the way they understand and communicate with the world around them.

About Our Director

Dulce Arevalo

Dulce Arevalo has a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from CUNY Queens College and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus, where she graduated with honors. For the duration of her program, she was the elected secretary of the Speech and Hearing Society of LIU Brooklyn.

While completing her Master’s Program, she was selected to participate in a term long study abroad program in the Dominican Republic. During her stay, she provided monolingual assessments and treatments in Spanish to underprivileged children in the Dominican Republic who have limited assessibility to Speech Therapy services. Her patient base consisted of children diagnosed with Expressive and Receptive language, speech/articulation and literacy disorders.

Mrs. Arevalo has over seven years of direct therapy experience in the field working with pediatrics enrolled in early intervention (0-3yrs old), school age children and adults diagnosed with Down Syndrome, Autism, Motor Speech Disorders, Stuttering, Expressive/Receptive language disorders, Speech/Articulation deficits, Feeding and literacy difficulties.

Her other certifications include a Bilingual Extension (awarded to those who can provide knowledge and clinical skills needed to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services for children and adolescents) and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

She also holds a New York State Speech-Language Pathology license and is certified as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
